Otmar Hauck

Otmar Hauck has been appointed to KION Group GmbH's executive board as chief operating officer (COO). He will be in charge of product planning, product development, purchasing and truck production, and the Hydraulics and Components business unit.
His move takes effect on 1 November, when he will replace Gordon Riske, KION's CEO, who is now acting COO.
Hauck was executive director of the plastics business unit at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg, Germany, where he was responsible for the development and manufacturing of plastic components and modules for the Volkswagen brand.
