DB Schenker has named Mike Fahy as the new chief executive officer for DB Schenker, Region Americas.
Fahy has served as the executive vice president of contract logistics, Americas Region since November 2020.
In his new role, he will have full responsibilities for all P&L aspects across the Americas including more than 10,000 employees in 123 locations. DB Schenker’s America’s presence includes Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, the United States and Venezuela.
Fahy’s career before DB Schenker includes the role of COO for an oil and gas distribution company owned by Simon Group Holdings and CEO of its technology companies. Prior to that, he held several positions at Syncreon, culminating as president of the technology segment.
Fahy takes over from Jochen Thewes, chief executive officer of DB Schenker, who held the position on an interim basis in a dual role.

Seegrid Corporation has appointed Joe Pajer as president and chief executive officer.
Pajer succeeds Jim Rock, who will continue as a Seegrid shareholder and advisor.
Pajer comes to Seegrid with more than 40 years of experience in the technology industry, including having previously served as CEO of Calero-MDSL (a technology expense management software company), Thinklogical (a high-end video switching company sold to Belden) and Vocollect (a warehouse automation software company sold to Honeywell). Prior to these roles, Pajer held leadership positions with Marconi, FORE Systems, Compaq, and AT&T.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a Master of Science degree in management, both earned at Carnegie Mellon University

Paul Fellows has been voted the new chairman of the National Road Transport Association.
A road transport veteran of 40 years, Fellows has worked as a driver, mechanic and business manager.
He owns Fellows Bulk, operating a small fleet of tippers out of Deniliquin in New South Wales.
Fellows succeeds Scott Davidson, who has also stepped down from the board.
