OneCharge has appointed David Suarez as the western regional vice president.
Suarez comes to OneCharge with more than 20 years of experience in mobile power across numerous industries, including underground mining, energy storage, and telecom, among others. Before joining the OneCharge team, Suarez held sales and sales leadership roles with companies such as Interstate Batteries, EnerSys, Voltabox of North America, and, recently, Green Cubes Technology.
Suarez will report to Mark D'Amato, vice president of sales.

Caster Concepts has named Doug Backinger as vice president of sales.
Caster Concepts first engaged Backinger as a college intern in 2004 and then as a full-time member of its engineering team while he completed both bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering and manufacturing.
For the past 10 years, Backinger has led the quality department at Caster Concepts while leading ISO 9001 and AS 9100 certifications for Aerol, the company's latest acquisition. Since January 2020, he has served as the director of sales, shaping the company's marketing efforts to meet customer needs and expectations.

Muehlhaeuser

Ballard Power Systems has appointed Hubertus Muehlhaeuser to its board of directors.
Muehlhaeuser brings a strong background in industrial manufacturing, including commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, and powertrain technologies. His distinguished career has included executing growth strategies in executive roles with industrial and manufacturing businesses in Europe, the US and other markets.
Muehlhaeuser is currently chairman and chief executive officer of Pontem Corporation, a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company with a focus on industrial technology businesses, and is also chairman of Kelvion Ltd., a global leader in the heat exchanger industry. He has previously served as CEO and executive director of CNH Industrial, president and CEO of Welbit Inc., and was senior vice president and general manager Europe, Middle East, and Africa of AGCO Corporation.
Muehlhaeuser holds an MBA degree from the European Business School.
