Terex AWP has appointed David Haldane to the newly created position of Genie sales manager, services for the UK and Ireland. Reporting to Matt Skipworth, Genie senior manager, service solutions, Haldane is responsible for supporting the sales of Genie service contracts and service solutions for all products supported by PSR and Genie in the UK and Ireland.
He joined Genie in June 2015, bringing significant experience from the rental sector. During his three years with Genie, Haldane has held both workshop and field service positions. Over the past 18 months, he has worked in close relationship with the UK sales team, assisting with product demonstrations and increasing responsibilities with customers from a service solutions and technical perspective.

Yates-Taylor has over 10 years' experience in the materials handling industry and has worked in a variety of roles, from technical and aftermarket sales, to business development.

The United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) has named Anne McIntosh - Baroness McIntosh of Pickering as its honorary president.
Baroness McIntosh replaces Ivon Moore-Brabazon - Lord Brabazon of Tara, who recently announced his decision to stand down having served in the role for 26 years.
In a distinguished political career, Baroness McIntosh of Pickering represented the Thirsk and Malton and Vale of York constituencies as a Conservative Member of Parliament and served as an MEP before being awarded a life peerage and taking her place in the House of Lords in 2015.
