Konecranes. He succeeds Pekka Lundmark who will leave Konecranes on September 5, 2015 to pursue his career outside the company.
Routila will transfer from Ahlström Capital, where he has been president and CEO since 2008. He has experience in listed companies including Ahlstrom Corporation and Vacon and has held management positions at Kuusakoski Group, Alteams and Outokumpu. Prior to that, he served in leading financial positions at Outokumpu and Partek Group in Finland, France, and the USA. Panu Routila has a M.Sc(Econ.) degree.

FLEXX has added four regional sales managers: Jim Gillespie, Jim Schmitt, Jay Bodnar and Kyle Myers.
Gillespie brings in-depth knowledge spanning the full asset management lifecycle to his role as the Midwestern regional sales manager. Working for original equipment manufacturers and dealers in the past, he provided sales and customer service spanning materials handling equipment needs for national accounts in the forklift world.
Schmitt joins FLEXX as the Southeastern regional sales manager with proven abilities in the materials handling equipment industry to manage accounts, define and develop industry-specific products and build cross-functional relationships at all levels.

Bodnar takes up the role of Northeastern regional sales manager. His extensive sales background has been focused on various aspects of the materials handling industry. His work for original equipment manufacturers and distributors has given him perspective on the unique solutions FLEXX can provide to eliminate points of pain for customers.
Myers joins the FLEXX team as the Southwestern regional sales manager, with years in the materials handling equipment industry, involving original equipment manufacturers, service and aftermarket parts experience, giving him extensive knowledge specific to the needs of the materials handling market.

National Lift Truck has promoted Bruce DeFord to fleet operations manager, a new position created by the company to facilitate the management of multiple services required by the constantly growing National Lift Truck's customer base. He has been in the rental department for the last 18 years, serving as rental manager for the last 13 years.
Utilising his 18 years of industry experience, DeFord will be co-ordinating and managing the operations of the National Lift Truck fleet. His responsibilities will include overseeing of purchasing and selling of equipment, management of service personnel and making decisions regarding the maintenance of the fleet.
Rob Jacklin has been promoted to rental department manager, replacing DeFord. Jacklin, who has been in the equipment rental industry since 1993, started working for National Lift Truck in 2013. He holds a degree in business management from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Benedictine University.

Baseplan Software has appointed Shane Stigler as its new chief operating officer for North America.
Stigler comes to Baseplan with over 20 year's industry experience and his skills include software development, training, business development and marketing. For the past 11 years, Stigler was the CIO for Ahern Rentals, one of the largest rental companies in North America.
As COO, Stigler will be responsible for all aspects of Baseplan's operations including sales, marketing and implementations.
