EnerSys has appointed Paul J Tufano as a new member to its board of directors. Tufano served as chief financial officer of the Alcatel-Lucent Group from 2008 to 2013. In September 2012, in addition to his chief financial officer responsibilities, he was named chief operating officer. Before that, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Solectron Corporation from January 2006 to October 2007 and as interim CEO from February 2007 to October 2007. Prior to joining Solectron he was president and CEO at Maxtor Corporation from February 2003 to November 2004. He has also served as executive vice president and chief operating officer from April 2001 and as chief financial officer from July 1996 at Maxtor Corporation.
Tufano holds a Masters of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting and International Business from Columbia University.

John Corry

Specialized Liftruck Services (SLS) has appointed John Corry as its senior account manager. Corry has over 25 years' experience in the materials handling industry, specialising in small- and large-capacity pneumatic and cushion-tyre forklifts, while working with major OEMs and distributors in the Chicagoland area. In his new role, he will be primarily focused on continuing to grow SLS's presence in the Chicago area, as well as northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin and northwest Indiana.
As part of the Hoist Companies, SLS is also an authorised dealer for Hoist Liftruck. Hoist Liftruck is a US manufacturer of high-capacity forklifts ranging from 7 to 57 T.
