TVH likes to invest in durability and tries to pursue this as much as possible in its products.

The range of second-hand attachments in original or completely revised condition is very extensive and varied: rotators, appliance clamps, fork positioners, carpet booms, bale clamps, paper roll clamps ...Below you can find more info about the path a second-hand attachment follows at TVH.

Step 1
All products arrive at the warehouse in Waregem. TVH registers the products by noting down the brand, type, serial number, year of construction, capacity and then

assigns a unique number to each attachment so that the product can then be put in stock.

Step 2
The products are fit onto a lift truck to check that they are functioning. They are then steam-cleaned and checked for wear, missing parts or other problems. In addition the functioning of the attachment is checked under load, by e.g. placing weight between the clamping arms; this also acts as a pressure-test.


Step 3
After the thorough inspection it is decided whether the product will be sold "as is" or as a reconditioned product. If the attachment is selected for a complete overhaul, it is disassembled. Wear parts are replaced where necessary and each part is inspected individually for defects. If necessary the ring gear is replaced, the reduction of the rotating attachments is checked, and the oil of the reductors is changed ...

Step 4
After being reassembled and repaired, the attachments are again tested for their functioning and clamping pressure. A new layer of paint is applied as the finishing touch. If needed, the attachment is sandblasted before it is painted, so that the paint is applied on an even surface. Once the products have been completely overhauled, pictures are taken to prepare them for sale. These attachments are then placed on TVH-bay with all necessary details such as clamp thickness, own weight, horizontal centre of gravity, FEM-class ... and are then put back in stock in anticipation of sale.
