Mitsui will distribute Mobicon in Japan

Mobicon Systems has entered into an exclusive distributor agreement with Japanese business giant Mitsui E&S Machinery.

Covering a multitude of operations, Mitsui’s business ranges from product sales, worldwide logistics and financing, through to the development of major international infrastructure. Mitsui E&S Machinery plays a central role in the Mitsui Group as a manufacturer of machinery that is indispensable in marine logistics and transport.

Mobicon has partnered with the Machinery and Infrastructure business unit in order to bring its unique mini-straddle carriers to the Japanese market.

Mitsui E&S Machinery is now the only company with exclusive rights to sell the Mobicon mini-straddle carrier in Japan.

Jesse Schultz, CEO of Mobicon Systems, says: “Mitsui are an incredibly well-established brand in Japan and around the world.  As a company that prides itself on providing our clients with high quality products and excellent customer service, partnering with Mitsui will allow us to continue to do just that for new and existing clients within Asia.”

Mobicon claims its unique four-axle design gives its carrier the lowest axle weight of any mini-straddle carrier, meaning that - unlike competitors - theirs won’t damage the average yard surface.
