 MLM's new model |
Man Lift Manufacturing Co has unveiled a line of self-propelled electrically insulated articulating boom lifts.
"These lifts have been designed in response to a growing number of customers in the utilities industry who are frustrated with the difficulty in using a standard Bucket Truck in certain situations," says Paul Jensen, director of sales and marketing at Man Lift Mfg. Co.
"Companies are realising that there are alternatives to these products and solutions to the problems they have in the field."
Included in the product line are 45 ft. (14 m), 60 ft. (18 m) and 80 ft. (24 m) articulating electrically insulated boom lifts. All of the lifts feature articulating jibs for added access flexibility and the option of a single- or double-person bucket for added efficiency.
The lifts do not require outriggers and allow the operator to move the machine when the bucket is elevated and work is being done around electrical hazards.
"It's becoming more and more difficult in the field to use the same old type of equipment and when we were approached by our partners in this project, they had a real concern about the safety and well-being of their workers." According to Liz Kendrick, Man Lift Mfg. Co. project manager, "they needed a solution to this growing problem and our team designed the answer".
