A forklift driver narrowly escaped serious injury when his forklift rolled off a building site and into a car before embedding itself in the front porch of a house.
The driver suffered minor neck injuries, and no-one in the house was hurt, a Western Mail report said.
A spokesman for the Newtown fire service, which attended the scene, said: "The forklift rolled off the building site and bounced off a Vauxhall Vectra car before (embedding) itself right in the middle of a porch."
A spokesman for Wales's Health & Safety Executive told the Mail the government had not decided whether an investigation into the accident would be launched.
