The YT203-EV battery electric yard/terminal tractor is now available through Mi-Jack ProductsAmerican manufacturer Mi-Jack Products, which makes container terminal and materials handling equipment, has teamed up with Terberg Taylor Americas to produce a line of yard and terminal tractors.
Mi-Jack’s position detection system (PDS), a GPS tracking system for terminal operators, distribution centres and warehouses, is a key element of the collaboration.
PDS will be available factory-installed on the new generation of Terberg Taylor Americas yard and terminal tractors.
As well as two diesel models, the range includes the electric YT203-EV, which has various battery capacities, including a thermal management system for use in hot and cold climates.
The YT203-EV uses standard DC chargers and has easy access to components, minimising maintenance downtime.
