Lisman Forklifts, located in IJsselstein - The Netherlands and Port Klang - Malaysia, exports its products to more than 80 countries and has a wide stock of high-quality used machinery, spread over almost 25000 m2 of covered space.

Recently the company has hosted more than 200 customers from the Benelux, France and German-speaking countries during its Anniversary Days. All attending companies have got the chance to take a look behind the scenes of the Lisman "production line", where the company standardizes the quality of all used machinery in stock and makes it ready for reselling to material handling professionals worldwide. "We are happy that so many customers could join us for this celebration" says Koen Lisman, CEO and the third generation Lisman in the family company. "It testifies that customers are increasingly looking for a good balance between quality and price and appreciate we can act as their extensive stock of 2000 machines in Europe and Malaysia. This also explains why 90% of our customers are repetitive buyers" continues Lisman. Recently the company has been hiring new employees to respond to the increase in sales and assure a continuous stream of used machinery in stock.

"Internet is radically changing the market for used forklifts, making it very impersonal,"adds Sjaak den Dunnen, Sales Manager. "Customers choose for the consistency and personal approach of our offer. This is why it is important to be able to meet face to face and show our customer the real difference between our proposition and the rest of the market. Visiting our company is a great moment to do this." confirms den Dunnen. "Almost 90% of the 6000 machines sold yearly are shipped to customers located outside the Netherlands or Malaysia. This requires a wide knowledge of formalities and export procedures. Lisman has opted for a strongly international workforce, speaking 15 different languages and with a long experience reselling used machinery abroad."

Beside organizing tours of the premises and special offers on the available stock, during the Anniversary Days the sales department of Lisman gave a special workshop for customers wishing to learn more about the recently upgraded website. Lisman now allows all users to log in with their social account, in order to see all pictures and the complete data of the forklifts. A registered user can also set up search agents to receive regular updates of new relevant stock published on the website every day. The main aim of all new features is to create an online platform where material handling professionals can find a relevant and consistent offer, with any sort of device and at every moment of the day.
