Lisman's Mark Ward and Combilift's Martin McVicar formalise their agreement

Lisman Forklifts Asia will distribute Combilift and Aislemaster products in South East Asia.

The two companies have reached an agreement which establishes Lisman as the South East Asia Distribution Hub for the Irish-built equipment.

Combilift and Aislemaster products are already in use in the South East Asia markets with existing dealers.

Lisman Forklifts Asia managing director Mark Ward believes that the partnership will enhance the service to new and existing Combilift customers. "By having a local presence in Asia, we will be able to provide dealers with easy access to the products, parts, training and support needed to support end users in a prompt manner."

Lisman Forklifts Asia provides wholesale premium brand used forklifts to dealers throughout South East Asia and is a key partner to a number of OEM providers in the territory. Early in 2018, it moved to an upgraded premium facility in Balakong, just outside Kuala Lumpur city centre. This new facility provides the perfect base for forklift dealers throughout Asia.

Under the agreement, Lisman will host sales and service training by accredited Combilift training staff and will hold demonstration units for customer viewing. It will also have in stock a range of Combilift spare parts.

Combilift managing director Martin McVicar believes that the partnership will enhance the service that the Irish manufacturer provides to its customers.

"Combilift prides itself on customer service and meeting the needs of its clients and this new partnership with Lisman Forklifts Asia will enable us to grow that level of service in this region. The demand for Combilift units is as strong here as in the rest of the world, but up to now, the key missing element has been the availability of on-the-ground support. Lisman Forklifts Asia provides this and we look forward to working with them to grow our presence in this region."
