Linde (China) held an opening ceremony for its Xiamen used forklift refurbishment centre last week.

The manufacturer already has refurbishment centres in Beijing, Guangzhou and Suzhou. A Linde (China) spokesperson says the new centre meets "increasing demand for refurbished forklifts across all industries in China".

Linde (China) CEO Chingpong Quek says this is a milestone for the manufacturer and is in line with its commitment to providing users with choices and solutions to meet their needs.

Another opening ceremony was held last month for the new sales and service branch in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area.

"Hefei is an important and strategic location for Linde (China) to serve the growing market needs in the China mid-west region," Quek says.

Jianguo Chen, general manager of Gree (Hefei) Electric Appliances, says his company has enjoyed using Linde forklifts for over 10 years and is "happy to see this new setup in Hefei, which will ensure better and faster service".

Over 20 employees work at the new Hefei branch. Hefei is the capital city of Anhui province in China.

Tao Chen, the general manager for Linde (China)'s Jiangsu and Anhui region, says there are now over 1,000 Linde forklifts working in Anhui province. He says Linde continues to be the leading foreign branded forklift in Anhui.
