Forklift dealer Liftow will distribute UgoWork lithium-ion batteries throughout Canada.

Under the distribution agreement, Liftow will offer UgoWork’s full line of batteries for electric forklifts.

Liftow customers will also be able to access UgoWork’s pay-for-performance consumption model, also known as energy as a service.

UgoWork president and chief executive Philippe Beauchamp says: “We are thrilled that Liftow, as a reputable Canadian leader, recognises the tremendous value UgoWork can bring to material handling teams in terms of productivity, capacity and cost-savings.”

UgoWork says its industry-first consumption model minimises upfront costs and capital expenditure, with companies only paying for the energy they use.

Liftow, the largest Toyota forklift dealer group in North America, has already trained its sales and technical teams in Ontario and Quebec about UgoWork’s products.
