Komatsu vertical order picker MWQ07-3R

Komatsu has released a vertical order picker.

Komatsu's MWQ07-3R model was released last December. It is manufactured at Komatsu's Luzzara plant, in Italy. It is being released in the UK, Northern Ireland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey, a Komatsu statement said.

Features include an eABS anti-locking system. It has a 700kg lifting capacity and a 1,125mm lifting height without raised forks or 1,799mm with raised forks. Its maximum speed is 8.5km/h.

The handlebar is similar to a GP motorbike, with two buttons on either side of the grip to control speed, while the other hand picks merchandise. An operator can move the truck at walking pace from ground level without climbing onto the platform by pressing two buttons (forwards and back) on the side of the chassis, a statement said.
