Upon an abusive impact, overload or overspeed event, the KEYTROLLER can trigger its optional SMARTIE video drive camera to record the event as it unfolds. This video event is saved in the SMARTIE'S SD card which is removed and inserted in a card reader in a PC. The unit can be set to record continuous and/or event tripped video and includes a 4GB SD card which will hold several hours of video and matching audio or user can upgrade up to 32GB which holds about 20 hours. There is an option of a locking box so that the SD card can be accessed only by management.

The saved video impact event show's the manager a complete view of the crash or overspeed issue before---as it unfolds, during----as the impact happens and after---what transpires after the impact. Pre event save can be as much as 30 seconds, post event as much as 300 seconds and it settable in software. The Keytroller generated impact events are time and date stamped and stored in both the KEYTROLLER device and the video on the SMARTIE SD card. The manager can choose to erase the event or save it for future reference in the operator's file in the PC in an AVI video format.

The new generation SMARTIE can accept from 1 to 4 separate camera inputs, so synchronized video can be viewed from 4 different perspectives on the same split screen. Camera modules are available in standard duty, weatherproof or Infrared for night vision recording. Cameras are very small so they can be covertly mounted. For large capacity forklifts and loaders there is also an optional color LCD display that can serve as a real time back up camera.

Applications with outdoor usage can make use of the SMARTIE GPS feature. All video events are recorded with GPS coordinates also saved. When viewed on an internet connected PC, the user can view the video event unfold in conjunction with viewing the complete trip of the event on Google Earth or Maps. This allows the viewer to also see the exact location of the impact along with the speed in MPH or KPH.

The feature filled SMARTIE is also affordable, with dealer cost starting at only $400 for a single camera system. Demo's are available to qualified dealers.
