Still, part of the Linde group, and Kalmar Industries, a subsidiary of Partek, have agreed on an OEM deal which will see Kalmar manufacturing forklifts for Still at its factory in Ljungby, Sweden.
The agreement, signed this month, covers internal combustion forklifts from six to eight tonne capacities and electric trucks from 5.5 to eight tonne capacities.
A Kalmar statement said Still would deliver the parts and components to Kalmar, and would sell the machines as its own brand through its sales network.
Production begins in 2004. Financial details of the agreement were not released.
