Jungheirich's EJE range is now available in Australia

Jungheinrich has launched a new entry-level range of pallet trucks in the Australian market.

This new range of electric pedestrian trucks is ideal for retailers, print shops, workshops or garden centres, or any small to medium-sized businesses that routinely need to move heavy individual items.

The range includes the EJE M13 (1,300 kg) and EJE M15 (1,500 kg) electric pedestrian pallet trucks.

All of these trucks are fitted with a maintenance-free three-phase AC motor and a maintenance-free gel battery with integrated charger as well as an ergonomic Jungheinrich tiller, offering fast, efficient and safe throughput.

National Jungheinrich product manager Greg McNamara says the new series provides the operator with a large number of ergonomic and performance-related advantages in comparison with hand pallet trucks. "Moving loads in these applications can be difficult if the operator only has a conventional hand pallet truck. The initial effort required to get the load moving, and then stopping, can be a possible OH&S risk or, if not, (is) sometimes impossible with a manual pallet truck."

Launched worldwide at CeMat 2016, these vehicles are now available from NTP Forklifts Australia.
