Pierre d’Autryve has been named director of JLT Computer’s French business unit and he is already planning an aggressive expansion of the warehouse operations and food logistics IT solutions provider’s presence throughout France.
The appointment of d’Autryve follows the retirement of managing director Philippe Briantais.
“Looking ahead, as the new director of JLT's French business unit, I am eager to expand the company’s presence in France and its neighbouring markets,” d’Autryve says.
“I aim to strengthen the company's position across the region, building a leading role in the rugged computing market.”
Director of sales with JLT France until his recent promotion, d’Autryve says conditions are currently favourable for further expansion into neighbouring countries, in line with the company’s long-term growth strategy.
JLT Computers provides hand-held, rugged tablets and rugged computers for use in warehouses and warehouse vehicles, ports and mining. JLT has operations in Sweden, France and the United States.
It counts seven large distribution centres servicing one of France’s largest food chains, as one of its largest customers.
