Instant Access has added Manitou EWPs |
Manitou has secured an order for eight new Manitou 160ATJ + high-capacity elevating work platforms from Instant Access for use in major Sydney infrastructure projects.
The Manitou 160ATJ + is the only 45 ft. (14 m) elevating work platform on the market with a capacity of 400 kg, some 75% higher than a standard 45 ft. elevating work platform, according to the manufacturer.
Instant Access has a long history of involvement in Sydney's major infrastructure projects and is continuing this tradition with the Manitou 160ATJ + models set to go to work on a major tunnel construction project. The 400 kg capacity should boost the safety and operations within these tunnel operations, and the ability to support three people and tools means fewer movements and less risk involved in carrying out the daily tasks underground.
Users also benefit from the Manitou's rough-terrain performance and the rigidity of the lifting structure is set to play its part in these key infrastructure projects.
Stephen Fraser, CEO of Instant Access, says: "As a specialist access solutions provider, a key part of our growth strategy is to add complementary products to our elevated work platform (EWP) range and we see this as a great opportunity to partner with Manitou on this key infrastructure project."
