The rise of the app is not just about accessibility of programming technology, it's also about adoption of smartphones - and their increasingly capability.
The downside, of course, is that we can never really clock off any more. As long as we have our phones with us, we're always on duty - and are never without access to the Internet. The office is never far away now.
