This must be the awards season as we have two major dealer awards covered in this week's newsletter in the wake of a few others in the past weeks. While some tend to dismiss the manufacturer-initiated awards as meaningless and self-serving, it is interesting to note the many high-profile dealers who continue to be honoured year after year. And these dealers tend to pop up in various business achievement lists and chamber of commerce rankings. Sure it may be co-incidence, but it's more likely that success breeds success. Those dealers who get on well with the manufacturers also tend to get on with their customers, creating a win-win-win situation, which generates more sales and keeps the suppliers happy. This is probably one of the most convoluted congratulations messages around, but it's our way of saying "well done" to the winners.
