The Industrial Truck Association and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers have collaborated to make forklift standards available free from the Industrial Truck Standards Development Foundation (ITSDF). Industry members can now download these standards from www.ITSDF.org. In Part 1 of a two-part series, US-based Safety First contributor David Hoover writes on the forklift standards this week. David will explore the standards in greater detail in Part 2 next month.
