Humanoids are changing warehouse operations
Humanoids are changing warehouse operations

Technology has been changing the world of materials handling since humans started to trade and sell goods and, with technological advancements happening faster than most of us could hope to keep pace with, the industry will continue to evolve at an ever-increasing rate.

This week we look at three new tech developments impacting the materials handling sector: a partnership which promises to integrate humanoid robots with warehouse operations; a logistics freight company adding AI-powered pedestrian alert systems to its forklifts; and upgrades to rugged mobile forklift computers.

These three changes couldn’t be more different to each other but they do reflect the breadth and scope of technological advances which are rapidly changing our sector. We can't wait to see - and report on - what further changes are revealed.
