Noblelift pallet jacks are being used by Adventist Community Services in Arkansas

Our reporting on hurricanes and other natural disasters in the United States is unfortunately becoming a regular feature – and this time, it’s Hurricane Debby which has impacted Florida and Georgia.

Another regular feature, thankfully, is the willingness of the materials handling and logistics sectors to lend a hand when the going gets tough – and we see it again with this disaster.

Emergency assistance alliance ALAN is once more at the forefront of relief efforts and is calling for further help from our community, as we report this week.

And another request for help, on a much smaller scale, comes from a Canadian charity that can’t afford to repair its workhorse forklift. Can anyone assist?
