It's very handy when you can employ your own technology at home, as KION well knows. The German giant has started work on a new parts centre which will rely heavily on its automation technology, from Dematic conveyor systems to Linde AMRs.
Automation will not only increase the efficiency of parts distribution, but the new site will also be an ongoing testing ground for the group's technology - and another working example to share with customers and prospects.
It also shows KION's faith in its latest generation of Li-ion forklifts and pallet stackers, which will be deployed in the centre.
