Greetings from LogiMAT, the first major European materials handling show since the start of the pandemic.
This message comes as our CEO, Ann Hofmans, and I are visiting our contacts on the show floor and we will be including detailed reports in the next couple of newsletters.
For now, however, I do have to stress the optimism at the show, which reflects the resilience and resourcefulness of the European equipment makers and vendors. They are facing unprecedented challenges, from an ongoing war on their doorstep to soaring energy costs and continuing supply chain disruptions. But materials handling is proving to be indispensable in all avenues of the economy, and most suppliers continue to face strong demand, which is buoying their confidence.
Watch this space for more details in coming weeks.
