The eyes of the world are locked on the unfolding tragedy of Russia's invasion of Ukraine - and a number of materials handling companies have risen to the challenge.
As we report this week, there are two-fold responses - companies which have halted trade with Russia and those which have also made donations to the Ukrainian cause.
With public sentiment in the West strongly favouring Ukraine, we can expect to see mounting pressure on those industry players who have not yet stepped up. As some are already saying, they are acting not because of stakeholder pressure and not because of business interests but, fundamentally, because it's the right thing to do.
