There's a strong automation theme in this week's newsletter, with two case studies showing productivity and efficiency enhancements through the adoption of AGVs and AMRs.
We also report on an Australian port leading the automation race with the addition of more automated cranes.
Interestingly, this week's news has an abundance of reports from Australia. That's not just because Forkliftaction News is based Down Under. Nor is the country a materials handling innovator like Germany. Australia is, however, an early adopter and a valuable testing ground for manufacturers who can get to see their solutions in action in a smaller market before offering them to the mass markets of Europe, America and Asia.
