If you work in the lifting industry - in cranes, elevated platforms and associated sectors, today is your day to shine.
July 8 has been designated Global Lifting Awareness Day (GLAD), thanks to the efforts of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), which has worked tirelessly to raise the profile of the sector.
Lifting is an important part of materials handling and many manufacturers, dealers and end-users are involved in both pushing and lifting.
Days like GLAD are not really about brand promotion, but about information, education and safety.
So, (hard) hats off to our colleagues who elevate the industry.
