Heli Forklift has been China's top forklift manufacturer for the past 24 years. |
Heli Forklift says it was named the top enterprise in the Chinese industrial vehicle industry at the end of last year, based on the production and sales data of domestic forklift manufacturers.
Company spokesman Songlei tells
Forkliftaction.com News that the China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA)'s industrial vehicles division has stated that Heli's main economic indicators remained in the leading position in China, and that it was now at the top of the industry for the 24th consecutive year.
In 2014, the company increased investment in the R&D of new products, actively responded to the market changes, fully promoted the Heli brand and implemented various sales policies.
Songlei says Heli realises that independent innovation is the key to the global market and that comprehensive supplementary services are essential to the development of its business overseas. Last year, Heli created a new export model, established a European centre and officially launched a global strategy.
The company boasts 589 patents and says its R&D investment has reached 4.3% of its sales revenue. More than CNY400 million (USD64.5 million) has been invested in technical innovations.
Established 57 years ago, Heli aims to boost its domestic marketshare and wants to be in the top five of the world's largest industrial vehicle companies by its 100th anniversary.
Today, the company's distributors are spread across over 80 countries and its products are exported to more than 150 countries and regions. It has about 8,000 employees and its primary business is industrial vehicles, heavy vehicles, engineering machinery, as well as parts and accessories. Heli can produce up to 120,000 machines per year.
