DHF ranks the biggest manufacturers
There are no changes at the top of the forklift manufacturers ranking produced by DHF.

The magazine reports that the global market continued to grow last year, with incoming orders increasing 7.7% - from 1,009,777 in 2013 to 1,088,366.

Toyota remains at the top of the latest ranking, recording significant revenue growth over 2013/14. DHF puts the Japanese giant's revenues at JPY924.9 billion or EUR6,592 million, representing growth of 14.3% or 16% for the respective currencies. According to the report, TMHG's growth extends to all regional markets, notching up growth of 5.4% in Japan, 15.3% in Europe, 9% in North America and 17% in Asia, Latin America, Australia/Oceania, the Middle East and Africa.

Germany's KION Group kept its second position on the table, with a 4% net sales increase to EUR4,678 million (USD5,108 million). DHFputs KION's global marketshare at 14.2%. It notes that the group's performance should be boosted by its May 2015 acquisition of Belgian automation specialist Egemin Group.

Jungheinrich, reporting its best annual turnover result to date, remained in third spot. The corporation has seen its revenues rise by 9% to EUR2,498 million (USD2,728 million).

European sales accounted for 91% of Jungheinrich's corporate turnover (down from 92% in the previous year) and a disproportionate 33% growth in China contributed to the overall success.

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. once again recorded an increase in turnover, defending its place at number 4 on the World Ranking. In 2014, the company recorded growth of 3.8%, reaching USD2,767 million.

Just over 67% of Hyster-Yale's turnover came from America, while 24.8% came from Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and 7.73% came from the Asia Pacific region.

Crown Equipment Corporation, placed fifth, showed its fifth consecutive increase in turnover since 2009/10. Net sales rose 4.2% to USD2,500 million.

Sixth place went to Mitsubishi Nichiyu Forklift Co., Ltd (combining Mitsubishi Heavy Industries with Nippon Yusoki), which reported a 26.5% revenue increase. The company is likely to move up the ranking next year, when the buyout of eighth-ranked Unicarriers by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Mitsubishi Nichiyu Forklift will impact on performance.

Anhui Heli Co., Ltd. (number 10) is the highest-ranked Chinese company. Heli's net sales rose just 0.7% to RMB6,648 million (USD1,010 million).

Hot on Heli's heels is Chinese competitor Hangcha Group Company Ltd., where net sales sank from RMB6,087 million (USD925 million) to RMB6,020 million (USD915 million).

Koreans occupy positions 13 to 15 in the form of Clark Material Handling International, Doosan Corporation Industrial Vehicle and Hyundai Heavy Industries, respectively.

Report author Jürgen Warmbold notes that Bulmor Industries GmbH of Perg, Austria and the Italian Officine Meccaniche Gonzaga (OMG) S.r.I. exited the list after failing to provide information, while side-loader specialist Baumann S.r.I. of Italy returned after a one-year absence.
