 The millionth card |
Coinciding with the one millionth Powered Access License (PAL) Card, Natalie Bird, Reanne Graver, Robert-Jan Kroes, Colin Simpson and Richard Willis won free trips to the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) summit taking place on 25-27 March in Washington. Kroes was added to the list after one of the original winners opted to receive a different prize.
Tim Whiteman, chief executive of Crooklands, England-based IPAF, says the five "will be joining us to hear world-class speakers at the IPAF summit and be part of the industry's annual celebration of excellence".
IPAF, a not-for-profit trade association, administers a voluntary aerial work platform operator training program and utilised a free verify-and-win prize drawing to celebrate issuance of the millionth card. More than 460 PAL Card holders from 11 countries across five continents received prizes including the free trips, market reports with a value of USD1,500 each, t-shirts, high-visibility jackets, caps, pens and clipboards.
IPAF members include rental companies, manufacturers, distributors and equipment owners.
