A man has been killed in an industrial accident at Nucor Decatur.
According to local media, Decatur Police were called to the steel facility around 8 am on Monday after a forklift hit a man, later identified as Texas resident Don Burton.
Burton was conscious and responsive when initially taken to Huntsville Hospital, but police later confirmed he had died.
An investigation is under way.
