Forklift companies are among the equipment manufacturing companies recognised by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) for enhancing the association's ability to provide meaningful market data to members.

Bobcat, Carelift Equipment Ltd, Gehl Company, Gradall, JCB, JLG Industries Inc, Liebherr, Mustang Manufacturing and Terex Genie received AEM's Statistics Outstanding Merit Award for their exemplary performance in AEM's statistical reporting programs.

AEM's statistical reporting service provides members with market trend and benchmarking data. The annual awards honour companies which exemplify the goals of reporting timeliness, accuracy, consistency and good corporate citizenship.

Companies receive points in several categories and earn the award with a 90% or better ranking.

The Dick Harris Data Integrity Award that honours the company best representing AEM's reporting goals went to Deere & Company for the 11th consecutive year. The award is given annually by AEM's forestry, earthmoving and excavator statistics committee in honour of the late Dick Harris who helped develop the statistics program in the 1970s and 1980s. Harris was an employee of International Harvester and Komatsu America International.
