A new look and more information are features of the redesigned Fork Lift Truck Association website -
www.fork-truck.org.uk.
The clear, attractive format would guide visitors quickly and efficiently to the advice they needed, FLTA chairman Brian Warbrick said this week. The drive to improve online services was good news for members, potential members and forklift end users.
"Providing instant information online is an important part of our mission to raise standards in the industry," Mr Warbrick said. "In doing so we are helping to protect the interests of consumers, increase productivity for businesses and enhance safety in the workplace."
Full details of the FLTA Safety Conference 2003 are among current items in the news section. Course and event details are constantly updated, and there are pages for those wishing to join the FLTA or its Safe User Group.
Users can also quickly find contact details for FLTA member companies.
"As anyone visiting the website will see, this is a very authoritative organisation with well-informed members, and now the vital contents of its website are available in an even more efficient, effective form," Mr Warbrick said.
