ForkliftAction Media Pty Ltd, publisher of
Forkliftaction News, will soon launch a revolutionary online machinery sales platform built on almost two decades of dominance in the materials handling information sector.
The new Machinery-onQ.com website will launch in July, replacing the current Marketplace, which has connected buyers and sellers of used forklifts and related equipment since 2004.
ForkliftAction general manager Ann Hofmans says the new trading platform is the result of extensive discussions with members and advertisers looking towards "the next stage in online machinery sales".
"The mission of Machinery-onQ.com is to capitalise on Forkliftaction's experience and provide a trading platform that is more specialised, effective and convenient," she explains.
The result of years of research and programming, the new platform has been developed with the latest technologies and coding practices, new functionalities and artificial intelligence.
"We've pulled it all together to make the system intuitive and easy to use for both buyers and sellers," Hofmans says.
In a significant development, Machinery-onQ.com will act globally and locally simultaneously, with regional versions of the platform, making the marketplace accessible for both international and regional transactions.
Following feedback from end-users, the new platform has been developed to cater for a wider range of machinery enabling fleet managers to shop for their full fleet of mobile machinery on the one platform: forklifts as well as industrial sweepers, aerial platforms and tow trucks.
Hofmans explains that like the Forkliftaction portal and the weekly Forkliftaction News information service which were online pioneers, Machinery-onQ will bring equipment sales into the 21st century. "It will be fully responsive to all types of mobile and computer devices, uncluttered and fast - and very accessible. As a user, you will find a platform that is easier to use, more dedicated and outstandingly effective - and will provide unparalleled access to the type of equipment you need."
Many additional features have been designed to further enhance the online trading hub, and these will be rolled out progressively after the launch, she adds.
Listings from the current Marketplace will automatically be migrated to www.Machinery-onQ.com on Thursday 6 July, 2017.
