Baoli distributors from 13 countries met in May for two days in Prague for the 1st Baoli Material Handling Europe Distributor Event. It was the first meeting of this kind for the European distributors after the establishment of Baoli Material Handling Europe s.r.o. in January 2014.

The networking conference was aimed at information flow as well as distributor interaction.

Management from Baoli China, Baoli Europe as well as KION Group, to which Baoli belongs, attended the conference. They provided information about the company's long-term strategy and learned from the distributors about the demands and requirements for growth and development in the varied regional markets of Central, Eastern and Western Europe.

Baoli's distributor network is growing continuously. Baoli is now represented in 18 countries across Europe.

The conference included long-standing Baoli distributors sharing their experience with many new ones who joined the network in the last few months. Workshop discussions dealt, for example, with positioning of the practical and reliable forklifts in the local markets, marketing activities as well as with aftersales initiatives and training.

"Our global growth strategy is based on an extensive product roadmap as well as on continuous improvements in sales and services", explained Guihai Wang, CEO of Baoli (Jiangsu) Forklift, during the conference. "The team at our European office in Prague has full responsibility for all local decisions in Europe. My responsibility is to implement the local requirements at the factory in China. I will not try to do my best, but I will do my best to support our distributors. The company's name, 'Baoli', is a Chinese word meaning 'black horse'. I am sure, that in a few years we will be a fast running horse.

"We learned a lot about the technical and marketing support, which our distributors need for successful business. Baoli Material Handling Europe s.r.o. is a subsidiary of Baoli (Jiangsu) Forklift Co. Ltd, which develops, manufactures, sells and services practical and reliable forklift trucks.
