Effidence has partnered with Hong Kong-based product distributor Delta Pyramax as the French autonomous mobile robot (AMR) maker continues its expansion in Asia.

Delta Pyramax, which distributes products ranging from water filter systems and glass crushers to vacuum sealers and robotic assistants for physiotherapists, will begin distributing Effidence robots.  

Effidence, which products collaborative "follow-me" and autonomous robots to work with or near humans as well standalone robots or cooperating fleet-type "swarm-me" robots, already has Asian distribution partners in Japan and Singapore.

Delta Pyramax managing director John Lau says: “Effidence has a more flexible solution that fits into working practices. For example the “follow me” is a function that any worker can understand. 

“As workers get more familiar with and not adverse to working alongside EffiBOTs, more functions can be added such as “go to base” commands.

“In more advanced applications, EffiBOT can be configured with more components to increase amount of automation.”
