Aptar CSP Technologies, a French company that makes drug delivery and consumer product dispensing packaging, has chosen Effidence to automate its warehouse.

Aptar has deployed a fleet of 10 EffiBOT-XS robots, supervised by Effidence's fleet manager EffiFCS, as well as an EffiBOT-P robotic stacker.

Aptar CSP Technologies continuous improvement technician Vincent Steinmetz says the company is already seeing the benefits of the new system.

“The whole package has made handling our products less restrictive,” Steinmetz says.

"Effidence was able to provide us with an adapted solution to the way our plant operates and to implement it gradually, improving the process without disrupting it.”

The EffiBOT-XS robots are fitted with lift equipment. They transport boxes from the box erector to the box sealer via the production machines.

At the end of their mission, the EffiBOT-XS drop the boxes are then palletised and placed on an automated conveyor.

Once the pallets have been prepared, the EffiBOT-P stacker moves them safely and autonomously to the storage area.
