The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is hosting a marketing seminar for entry level and seasoned marketers from June 4 to June 6 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore, Inner Harbour, in Maryland.
The seminar will feature presentations on econometrics and analytic measurements to help marketers evaluate and fine-tune communications programs for optimum results, AEM said.
An AEM spokesperson said econometrics was the use of statistical tools to analyse customer habits and markets to produce quantifiable data used in marketing decisions.
Social activities include visits to two well-known Baltimore attractions, baseball ground Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and USS Constellation, the only Civil War-era naval vessel still afloat. Oriole Park, home of the Baltimore Orioles, is two blocks from the birthplace of baseball's legendary hero, "Babe" Ruth.
AEM marketing seminars are organised by volunteer industry professionals on AEM's marketing council.
