Q. Give a brief description of your product. The Driver ID is a key pad entry system to forklifts. Whilst key pad entry is not unique to the market the Driver ID is unique as it prompts the first driver that keys on at the start of a shift to complete and log a full start up safety check. The Driver ID goes through the check list and the driver answers "YES" or "NO" to each question, should all the answers be "YES" the Driver ID will allow the forklift to be started. Should they answer "NO" to any question the Driver ID will prompt them to call their supervisor. The supervisor can enter an override code based on the severity of the fault. If the fault is deemed major the supervisor won't enter their code and the service provider should be contacted. Even though the supervisor does enter their code (minor faults) the Driver ID will always prompt any driver that logs on after the fault is recorded to call their supervisor. The Driver ID is programed to look for pin numbers that the service provider has, to know that the forklift fault has been repaired. All information is stored on the Driver ID and downloaded daily or weekly and taken back to a PC for storage thus creating a service log of each unit. The Driver ID can also be linked to our Impact Sensor and Speed Monitor to further check that forklift drivers are driving in a safe manner.
