Doosan will showcase its complete range at IMHX.
Doosan will use IMHX 2013 to showcase its new reach truck and expanded warehouse forklift range in the UK for the very first time.

The trucks were launched in 2012.

Paul Watson, the company's UK general sales manager, says: "As the UK has one of the most sophisticated materials handling markets in the world, we're sure they will get a great response."

Recent developments include changes to the engine truck line-up to address new environmental legislation as well as newly designed cabins and a brand new reach truck range. Doosan boasts that the new 7 Series reach truck comes with a host of high specification features as standard (Forkliftaction.com News #580).

To complement the reach truck, Doosan will also show its new warehouse range, the LED series, at IMHX (Forkliftaction.com News #598). The complete warehouse series is designed and built at Doosan Logistics Europe GmbH, the Doosan warehouse factory in Germany, which also builds specialist kits for air cargo-related customers like British Airways and DHL.

Doosan's forklift business has undergone major developments in the past few years. In 2011, the Doosan Industrial Vehicle division was established to focus on materials handling (Forkliftaction.com News #514), separating the forklift business from Doosan's construction, engines and machine tools operations.

In April 2011, the UK business acquired a majority stake in one of its leading distributors, Genesis Forklifts, and in 2010, it launched a dedicated forklift parts centre in Northampton, United Kingdom.

IMHX 2013 is held from 19-22 March at the NEC Birmingham in the UK.
