 DINO 220XSE boom lift |
Dinolift is extending its DINO boom lift range with a completely new 22 m working height boom lift that has an extra large basket with 350 kg basket capacity to carry more people and tools on the entire working envelope.
In addition to being a full-scale heavy-duty work platform, the DINO 220XSE boom lift also functions as a remotely operated telehandler with a lifting capacity of 500 kg. The basket is mounted on the boom with forks that feature a safe, quick-release mechanism.
The new 22 m boom lift comes with a 1.3 m x 2.4 m basket that can fit three people in good working comfort. The basket can also hold a full-size pallet.
The two entry gates - one for the operator and the other for a pallet - add to machine versatility and ease of use.
Important safety features include the intelligent driving system, which allows the operator to always drive the boom lift forward when moving the joystick forward - a clear safety improvement for the operator and the immedate working environment. Further, the 220XSE comes equipped with a mechanical anti-crushing device to prevent crushing incidents caused by overhead obstacles.
When the basket is detached, the machine can be used as a telehandler with a 500 kg lifting capacity.
The DINO 220XSE should be attractive for rental fleets because it provides customers with enhanced productivity and serves multifunctional needs, as the same machine can lift both people and materials.
"DINO 220XSE is an innovative way to expand our boom lift range," says Karin Nars, sales director at Dinolift. "The extra large basket size and capacity enable our customers to improve their productivity by longer working cycles. The customer gets a familiar, safe and easy-to-use Dino work platform but, in addition, with telehandler capabilities. This further increases the usability of the machine; it means you're getting two machines in one."
