Doosan Construction Equipment has appointed My Wish Enterprise PLC, based in Addis Ababa, its authorised dealer in Ethiopia for Bobcat compact equipment.

The Bobcat appointment follows three years of My Wish Enterprise as the official Ethiopian dealer for the Doosan heavy equipment range.

Husamudin Seifu, managing director of My Wish Enterprise, says the company is happy to add Bobcat equipment to the Doosan heavy equipment range.

"As soon as we were appointed, we formed a new, dedicated sales team for the Bobcat range and the portable power range for which we were given a non-exclusive agreement. The Doosan portable power range includes portable compressors, generators, light towers, light compaction equipment, and pneumatic construction tools," Seifu says.

The Doosan and Bobcat teams in Belgium and the Czech Republic provide professional support to the Ethiopian dealer. Doosan training managers have been at My Wish's Addis Ababa facilities to give staff sales and product training.

"As a result, through our service people, we have already secured more than 10 customers who have placed orders, encouraging me to raise the sales forecast for 2013," Seifu says.

Under the new agreement, My Wish Enterprise is now responsible for marketing the complete range of Bobcat equipment in Ethiopia. It includes skid-steer, compact tracked and all-wheel steer loaders; compact excavators; telescopic handlers; utility vehicles; and a range of attachments for the machines.

To support new and existing Bobcat customers in Ethiopia, My Wish Enterprise says it will offer a large selection of genuine Bobcat accessories and parts. The company will carry most essential spare parts and provide a back-up service with "rapid delivery" for other items.
