Equipment Depot has announced that Daily Equipment Company and Southern California Material Handling (SCMH) have joined the Equipment Depot organisation, and each of their locations will now operate as Equipment Depot.

The integration of these two materials handling dealer groups adds eight new locations to Equipment Depot - two in California, four in Louisiana, and two in Mississippi - bringing their total number of dealer locations to 43 nationwide.

SCMH and Daily Equipment previously operated as part of MCFA, which is owned by Mitsubishi Logisnext, the entity that acquired Equipment Depot on July 1.

At the time, it was announced that SCMH and Daily Equipment would be joining the Equipment Depot organisation, under the leadership of David Turner, Equipment Depot's president and CEO.

"With the addition of SCMH and Daily Equipment, we will leverage our expansive resources to deliver elevated service and support to all our customers," says Turner. "I am excited about the full potential of our united team and using our combined capabilities to further solidify our position as the best service organisation in the industry."

The leadership of both SCMH and Daily Equipment remain on staff at Equipment Depot and oversee their respective companies as "regions" within Equipment Depot.

At least initially, all former SCMH and Daily Equipment locations will still be representing the same products and brands, a spokesperson tells Forkliftaction News.
