Crown Equipment Corp has expanded its presence in Spain with its first company-owned branch located in Valencia and an in-country administrative office and technical and sales support centre in Madrid.

The Madrid office staff will oversee a team of factory-trained technicians initially covering locations in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza, Murcia and San Sebastian. Further expansion is planned.

"Spain represents the fifth-largest market in Western Europe as well as an important region for Crown," says Ken Dufford, vice president for Crown Equipment in Europe. "We are delighted with our expansion in the country with so many new models and a distribution network that will open up many new opportunities to enhance existing and develop new customer relationships."

New Bremen-based Crown's global distribution and service network includes more than 70 company-owned retail dealerships and more than 300 independent dealerships.
