For the eighth year, Cat Lift Trucks will provide more than 100 forklifts for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo taking place from 28 February through 18 March.

Cat dealership Adobe Equipment Houston LLC supports the equipment manufacturer in this endeavour.

Organisers project 2.2 million visitors and more than 30,000 animals for the event which covers 2.1 million sqft. (189,000 sqm) in Houston's Reliant Park. The charitable event was started in 1932.

The materials handling equipment is used to move animal feed, hay and food supplies, set up the stage equipment for nightly performances and deliver more than 600,000 visitor guides throughout the property. Adobe Equipment technicians remain on hand around the clock to service and support all donated lift trucks.

The Cat Lift Truck operations are part of joint venture Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc in Houston.
