Cascade Corporation's Canadian facility in Mississauga, Ontario is just a 5 minute drive from Lester B. Pearson airport (Canada's largest). The 65 employees at this facility are proud to say that they are "The" Remanufacturing facility for North America as well as the Worldwide Headquarters for "Application Specific Product". In addition, they supply Canadian Customers with the complete Cascade product line and Liftech masts. Cascade Mississauga designs and manufactures specialty attachments such as Block Handlers, Marble Slab Handlers, Stationary Load Inverters, Load Transfer Station, Fixed Fork Spreaders, Load Extenders, Inverta PushTM, Tipping Clamps, Bread Handlers, Broke Paper Clamps, Buckets, Drop Bottom Box Dumpers, Train Wheel Handler and the new Wine Barrel Handler. In addition to Remanufacturing used equipment; the Mississauga facility designs and builds special attachments for specific applications. They work closely with customers to design special units to satisfy unique requirements. Units include TurnaloadsTM, Stationary Masts and Stands, Special Roll Clamps, Fork Clamps, Bale Clamps, Tire Handlers, Load Stabilizers, Pipe/Pole Hold Downs, Special Sideshifters, Load Inverters, Special Carriages--almost anything for the material handling industry. "The creativity and ingenuity of the people at this facility has earned them the respect of customers as well as colleagues" stated Chandica Harry, the General Manager of Cascade Mississauga. This facility buys used Cascade attachments from end users and dealers across Canada and the United States. These units are completely disassembled and rebuilt to original factory specifications. A stock of core "Remanufactured" units - Carton Clamps, Push-Pulls, Roll Clamps, Fork Clamps, Bale Clamps, Multipurpose Clamps, Rotators and Single-Double Pallet Handlers are maintained at the Mississauga facility. The majority of the units are standard Catalog models; however Mississauga is able to offer units with special features to meet Customer requirements.
